Healthy Snacking Tips

Who else is being driven crazy by snacking right now?!

Either from your kids asking a hundred times a day or you’re wandering into the kitchen and staring at your pantry or fridge? 🙋‍♀️

While I’ve worked from home for a few years now and have set my own routines, it’s been a struggle to control all of the snacking when I’m asked multiple times per day to get a snack. 🤪

Here are some ways I’m controlling my own snacking-

💚 Set meal times and snack times for the whole family and stick to it. Yes, I’m currently following a preschool schedule for myself! 😂

💚Prep healthy snacks ahead of time in the fridge. I try and have peppers, celery, cucumbers, and carrots ready in containers. Add either hummus or peanut butter to dip. Same for fruit- wash & cut up fruit when you bring it home.

💚 Drink more water. So boring, I know! Sip on water all day and you’ll realize that maybe you didn’t need that snack after all.

💚 If you’ve got a sweet tooth, (I do) have a container already mixed of almonds and dark chocolate chips to grab when you really need it!

How is the snacking going at your house? Anything you’ve found to help control it?
